Who we are

Founded by advocates with lived experience, we understand the challenges faced by our community. We work tirelessly to ensure that the voices of the Windrush Generation are heard, respected, and supported. From advocacy to celebration, our work is rooted in dignity, equality, and cultural pride.

What we do

1. Windrush Advocacy and Advice

  • Guidance with status confirmation and citizenship applications
  • Help with compensation claims
  • Referrals for benefits and services such as PiP, housing, and legal support
  • National support via our referral system and partner network

2. Community Outreach

  • Free drop-in sessions in Preston and across the North West
  • Workshops, training, and information events
  • Connections with national partners to support those outside our region

3. Cultural Celebration

  • Events that celebrate Caribbean heritage and multicultural contributions
  • Educational programmes for schools, community groups, and public services
  • Storytelling, history-sharing, and intergenerational projects

4. Campaigning for Change
